Solo gli esperti conoscono i nomi delle donne che hanno contribuito alla scuola d'arte, anche se gran parte del suo potenziale innovativo va proprio a loro. Il documentario "Bauhausfrauen" è un omaggio alle donne del Bauhaus dimenticate e vuole promuovere l’idea che il Bauhaus è ancora una realtà viva ed è anche una storia femminile.

Today, 100 years after being founded, the Bauhaus-masters continue to be the stars of the architecture and design history. However, the (his)story of the Bauhaus remains male dominated. Only experts know the names of the female contributors of the art school, even though a great part of its innovative potential goes to its women.
